Wei Xu is a software engineer in Alipay since got the Master degree in 2020, he’s responsible for the development of real-time millions of TPS data processing systems. During the school, he led and participated in more than 4 large projects, including image processing, embedded system, IOT, software and hardware design.

“I hope to break the bottleneck of my growth through scientific research and development of new technology”, says Wei. Because there are few opportunities in enterprises to conduct his research, he’s really looking forward to finding a platform to engage in research work, dedicated to finding new methods, or developing new technologies, and producing new results in the field of computer research.

Software Engineer in Alipay (Jul.2020-So far)

  • Developed a real-time data processing system to provide data for algorithm learning.
  • Developed a high availability system to process millions of TPS transaction data.
  • The frameworks used include message queue (Kafka), distributed storage (Redis, HBase), data calculation (Spark Streaming) and application framework (Spring).
  • Contributed 60K+ lines of Java code to a company’s codebase via Git.
