Based on the traditional walking machine, an intelligent walking machine is designed by using the Internet of things, sensors and other technologies to realize the temperature and humidity, infrared, dumping detection.
The system integrates MPU6050 angle detection, HC-SR501 human infrared sensor, HC-SR04 ultrasonic ranging module, DHT11 humidity sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor and other sensors for intelligent detection, and uses TI’s MSP430 as the core controller to transmit the detected information to the smart terminal app through CC2564 Bluetooth module, so as to realize the real-time monitoring of the status of infant in the walker(as shown in the figure 1).
2. Hardware design
2.1. Angle detection module
The module is integrated with an attitude solver, combined with Kalman filter algorithm, which can accurately output the current state in the dynamic environment, and the attitude accuracy reaches 0.01 °
2.2. Humidity sensor
It can be packaged and placed under the cushion to monitor whether the baby urinates or not, and remind parents to change diapers at any time.
2.3. Temperature sensor
Monitor the current ambient temperature to determine whether it is conducive to outdoor activities.
2.4. Ultrasonic ranging module
Monitor whether there are obstacles in a certain range of walkers, and timely remind parents to take care of them to prevent them from touching dangerous goods.
2.5. Human infrared sensor module
Monitor if there are people beside the car to ensure safety.
2.6. Bluetooth module
Through the Bluetooth module, the collected data is transmitted to the mobile app.
3. Software design
An app is developed based on Android system by using java language, , which has the functions of data display, information alarm, command control and so on.
